I’m an architect based in Athens, with a particular interest in the design of public spaces focused on education. I work with  education specialists, teachers, parents and landscape architects on a variety of projects, from hotel playgrounds, to school yards and gardens, trying to bring together teams from different disciplines to design places where children play and learn through the landscape.

 

I have experience working on a number of large-scale public projects ranging from hotels and offices, to schools and industrial buildings, as well as smaller scale residential projects both in urban and rural contexts.

 

In 2007, I was part of a medium-sized architectural practice focusing on public buildings, where I participated in projects including the design for a competition concerning ten school units

in the Region of Thessaloniki with PPP for the Greek Public School Institution (OSK).

I also participated on the final study for the upgrading of the National Garden in Athens (Ethnikos Kipos).

 

In 2011, I set up AM3 Architects Ltd together with two of my former colleagues. One of our completed projects is the renovation of Makryammos Bungalows, a four-star hotel in Thassos, Greece.

 

Today, I continue my work in architectural design, supervision and construction across a wide range of sectors and projects, collaborating with different people and specialists to design and create well-thought, sensitive and sensible places for both grown-ups and children to live, work and play in.
